Outdoor events. Socially distanced parties. How can you party after lockdown?
2020, The year of the Corona Virus. It is not something any of us will forget… EVER! As lockdown is eased and talk of pubs & bars opening from early July the thought of a cold pint, in a beer garden, socialising (distanced of course) with friends and family is very much an appealing one. Nothing says summer more than a drink outside in the sun and with a heatwave apparently on the way, although as I write this rain is bouncing off the skylight windows of my office and it seems more like being in the middle of the monsoon season, the hope of that summer drink is one to cling to.
I have claimed it before in a previous blog link in Britain we love a party, a drink with friends and family, music & entertainment and a dance. After working hard, the chance to relax and unwind with friends is one not to miss. But how will this look in a ‘post-COVID’ Britain?
At PC Roadshows we have taken the time during lockdown to do a lot of work behind the scenes to make sure we are ready and raring to go at the first available opportunity to do what we enjoy the most.. Hosting amazing parties, creating memories, creating a platform form for people to relax, sing, dance, let down their hair and enjoy a well-earned drink.
What will a ‘post-covid’ party look like and how can entertainment from PC Roadshows make it the best party ever? Until venues are fully open and social distancing is a thing of the past Garden Parties, Beer Garden Parties and Street parties are the way forward. We have designed entertainment for all these types of events. Here are a few ideas: –
DJ’s mixing cool summer vibes in beer gardens.
Enjoy a drink with friends and family in a beer garden, a DJ mixing tunes to create a summer party atmosphere. Add singers, percussion, sax players, there are lots of options for an outdoor summer party.
Street Parties.
Here is a fantastic opportunity for birthdays, children’s parties, and other celebrations. Your local community coming together to partying as one. PC Roadshows interaction? Not a problem we have redesigned and created new forms of a unique interaction to suit street parties. Get ready for who is the ‘Loudest Garden Singers’ and a whole new take on the classic ‘Go Get Me’ game. Children lined up on the front street socially distanced to sing along and dance to party classic such as ‘Baby Shark’ and the many other party dance classics.
Summer Fayres.
We are no stranger to this type of event, summer fayres, family fun days etc. we have supplied, music, PA and entertainment to these types of events for years.
How do we keep it safe?
The safety of all is a major consideration of any event PC Roadshows are involved in. We have supplied event hire and entertainment services at outdoor events for many years. You can expect equipment to be safe at any outdoor event we are entertaining at.
Extra measures we have included for social distancing are as follows: –
- Set up in a socially distanced position away from others.
- Encourage socially distanced dancing.
- Extra cleaning and sanitation of equipment before, during and after all events.
- Socially distanced games and interaction
- Use of technology and smart phone apps for song and music requests.
- Additional wireless microphones sanitised with replaceable ‘wind shields’ for speeches, singers or even karaoke. Wireless technology allows speakers, singers, artists etc to all remain socially distanced.
We are also able to supply staging, shelter, and generators. When it comes to outdoor events, we have it covered. As soon as government guidance allows, and in line with that guidance we are ready to entertain, celebrate and party with you once again.
